Murray Districts Playgroup offers a welcoming, well-equipped environment designed to support your child’s development while fostering connection and community. Our facilities encourage the growth of social skills, physical coordination, creativity, exploration, and—most importantly—friendships that can last a lifetime.
We provide both indoor and outdoor play areas for children and their parents or carers to enjoy together.
Indoor Play Spaces
Our indoor play area is extremely well resourced and thoughtfully set up to support imaginative and open-ended play. Children can enjoy:
- Pretend play areas including a car table, doll’s house, and home corner with kitchens, dolls, and prams
- A wide variety of dress-ups in our dress-up cupboard
- Musical instruments
- Baby and toddler toys
- Storybooks
- Art and craft supplies
The indoor space also includes family-friendly amenities such as:
- A kitchen with tea and coffee facilities, hot water, and a fridge
- Adult and child-sized toilets
- Change table facilities
- Air conditioning for year-round comfort
Outdoor Play Spaces
Our outdoor area is a fully enclosed and safe space where children can play, explore, and be active. Outdoor resources include:
- A large playground
- Swings and slides
- Sandpit with digging tools and construction vehicles
- Bikes, scooters, and ride-on toys
- Mud kitchen
- Climbers and soft play equipment
- Obstacle course
- Music play areas
- Water play on warmer days
Our Toys & Resources
We love involving our community and encourage families to suggest toy or resource purchases that they believe would add value to the playgroup.
While our toys are thoroughly enjoyed during playgroup sessions, please note that toys cannot be borrowed or taken home. For this reason, we also kindly ask families not to bring toys from home, as they may be forgotten, misplaced, or accidentally go home with another child.
